Hachette UK has today announced a ‘holistic review’ of its starting salary and holiday benefits, as well as an exceptional pay review for certain levels within the business, a performance-related bonus, and an additional cost of living payment.

Hachette UK has appointed Oliver Malcolm as Managing Director of Hodder & Stoughton. Reporting into Katie Espiner, CEO of Hodder & Stoughton and Orion, Malcolm will be based at Hachette UK’s London office and will join the Hachette UK board.

Hachette UK announced that Hodder & Stoughton Managing Director Carolyn Mays will be stepping down after ten years as MD of Hodder and more than three decades with the company. She will be leaving at the end of 2022.

Hachette UK has appointed Seshni Jacobs as Managing Director of Hodder Education, as Lis Tribe retires after a decade in the role and nearly thirty years at Hodder Education.
